It may be a good idea. It's deer season. Our truck drivers have killed more deer this year than our hunters at a repair cost of about $3,000 per pickup truck. :-)

Hey Rob, I've seen some rubber type of bumper things that hang along the sides of the car. Kinda like the bumpers they use on boat docks. FUGLY, but functional. But they would probably only last one night before getting removed without the owners permission[|)]

Well that doesn't look too bad. About the deer thing; if you had one on your car and you hit a deer, it would likely cause more damage than if you didn't have one on the car.about the only bars that are truly functional and durable that I have seen are from TJM out of Australia, and I dunno if they make one for the PT.also consider that you may delay the deployment time of your airbags, if ever needed, or possibly even render them ineffective.

Its a good idea of putting a bumper guard on your vehicle it definitely resist the impact on the bumper in case of collision with things unexpectedly.

I don't really believe that's going to protect anything. That's like wearing a condom even though you know there's no chance of having sex!
