Default Illuminated Spoiler

Hi everyone!

Did someone heard about those illuminated spoilers?

G-Wing Spoilers from AMI

(Go to 5:30 to see the spoiler)
!

From what I saw in their website, you can actually choose a color with your remote control. You can keep the Red color for example and drive with it.
Do you know if it's possible to put it in a PT?
And do you know if it's lawful to drive with it?

Thank's !

Cool Re: Illuminated Spoiler

Why not mold-in leds into the PT spoiler.
I am one of about 3 that have done it - connected to the 3rd brake light.

Not sure why you would want to do that at all...but i agree with sooner. Instead of buying a new one, just put lights in the stock one.

You can do almost anything you want as long as the vehicle isn't driving on the road. Cruise-in's, car shows and parades are what comes to mind. ON the road, lights have to conform to the vehicle regulations. A red light on the rear of the car that comes on when the brakes are applied (light the 3rd brake light) is fine.

As Soonercruiser said, you can add a light to the PT rear spoiler and wire it up to the brake lights.

$60 for the aftermarket spoiler; $49 for the Hamsar LEDs; $12 for some body putty; then let the shop do the painting. If you can paint, you can do it for under $300!
It will take more $$ if you try to cover the seating hole in the back hatch of the 2006 and up lip spoiler.
I simply bought a Chrysler logo wheel center cap and covered mine.

Why did I not do my spoiler painting myself?

...and, if you want to add a little pizazz to your light; I added the flashing module to the led bar in my spoiler. So now, when I hit the brakes, the LED bar flashes 3 times and then goes to steady red. It attracts more attention from the drivers behind that I'm putting on my brakes.

"Signalz" blinker in mine too Crewzin!
I did that after I re-did the custom rear step pad. I didn't want to allow someone to run into my rear end a second time!
