Roof Rack / Spoiler

I have the factory Chrysler roof rack on my PT Cruiser and over the last year, have noticed a lot of people that have positioned the roof rack crossbars near the back of their PT Cruiser to resemble a thick black spoiler.

Is it difficult to remove the crossbars to reposition them? Any suggestions from anyone before I do this? Do they simply slide off the back of the vehicle?

Actually its very easy...All you need is an allan wrench...i forget which size but anyway...all you have to do is take off the very end parts....towards the back of the car...they are what hold it from sliding off all the way.....but then all you do is reposition the rack things and there ya go you have a spoiler....now i have a spoiler so i took the roof rack things off....and pretty soon im hoping to get rid of the rails....glad to help..

Oh Yes! She is here in my garage! How Sweet It Is! She arrived September 21st and in 48 hours I have already completed a majority of the customizing. I'll send you a few pics this week...

Nothing like Borla cat-backs and Eibach suspension! I currently have my flourscent orange surfboard on the Watersport roof rack! Have a way to go before I'm done but got a lot accomplished in two days!
