Default playing with vinyl

ok so i finally got my heat gun yesterday and when i got home from work i decided to play around with the vinyl i had. i also figured out that chrome vinyl isn't meant to be stretched. i don't have any pix of the chrome but i do have pix on the other things i did. check it out.
this side was blue

this side was light smoke

here's the difference

light smoke blinker

blue smoke blinker

i used the blue smoke to tint the chrysler emblem

i also used it to wrap my dome & map light covers

after i took off the blue smoke and replaced it with the light smoke

day shot

day shot of emblem

I like the blue tint on the headlights. U should take and use the blue vinyl and put it on te stereo dash section. That would look sweat. Or the posts coming from the center of the steering wheel out to the actual wheel

Love the light smoke tint on those headlights. Where'd you pick it up, arts and crafts store?

The dome lights turned out pretty good. The heat gun makes a BIG differance over a hair dryer!!!! The light smoke looks good on the headlights, enough tint to look good, but doesn't really affect the light output by the looks of it

i only had one piece of blue smoke left. I was just practicing, seeing how the vinyl works with a real heat gun. I took the blue off and replaced it with the light smoke.

The heat gun makes a HELL OF A LOT BETTER difference, lol. as for the light smoke, i figured, if i spent all that time changing out my low and high beams, i don't want to drown them out with a dark tint.

oh i forgot to mention that i rechromed the center piece on the wiper arm and the window sprayer. That's how i found out that chrome vinyl isn't meant to be stretched.

thanx. i'm thinking in a lil bit i'm gonna go out and use the same tint on my tail lights, just so that it all matches. The reverse lights & the head lights. Sides i don't think that they're that dark anyways. But if it doesn't look good, i can always take it off.
