Yes, many folks. It's certainly one way around the spotting problem.
I kinda like the way the mirrors & pillers "blend" in with the tinted glass.
Bumpers - THAT's what I want painted body color.

I have a set that I am waiting for nice weather so that I can paint them, guess it'll be spring before I finish them.
Did you paint them yourself or have them painted? If you had them painted by a body shop, etc. how much did they charge?

[i]Thanks guys, I did them, I've been airbrushing, drawing and painting since the 70s. When I got my first PT in 01 it just cried out for something to be done and have been hooked on it ever since!! I've also been doing this stuff for my friends locally and built a little shop in my garage here in Northern Va.
I got laid off a few months ago and my friends said to go on line and you might not HAVE to get a job!! Well this is my shot at it and if you like my stuff let me know. I've figured out a way to make the cost of my work affordable because as I've found out some of these stock parts can be expensive. Any way, go to my site listed below (I made that myself too) and if you can get in, it's one of those "Free" sites (limited bandwidth), Check out my stuff!! If it won't open, wait a few minutes and try it again!
Thanks again and I look forward to hearing from you guys!

I was actually going to go that mod but then I realized it broke the flow of black that the mirrors, windows and pillars created. I think Ill just stick with painted mirrors...

sakigt, I guess I agree with you, "to each their own"!!! That is what makes the PT unique!!!
