Default Damaged 2005 Touring front bumper Help

Hi all. I just purchased a 2005 PT Touring convertible and it has a damaged front bumper cover. I am looking to replace it with a mild custom but would like something that won’t cost 5 times what an OEM replacement will cost. I can buy an OEM part for around $165.00. Any suggestion would be much appreciated.

Buy the OEM part!
Anything else is body shop work plus a lot of paint & labor.

Yep, you have three major brands to look at (in no certain order): Xenon, PTeazer, and ODaddyO.

Can give you some price references, these are from Maggie at Race & Street:For the ODaddyO stuff, I'd PM Slayer as he's got their full buildout on his car, and I have no clue of the cost and just went to their site and it's still under construction.

Out of all of these, the only urethane covers are the Xenons, the Bruiser goes right over your existing bumper while the Crusher requires you remove the bumper. The PTeazer and ODaddyO are both fiberglass. If they had been urethane, I'd have one of those two on my car now....

Thanks for the info and concern about cost but I will make sure I donít gouge myself on the body and paint work that I will be doing. LOL Just funning around. I have 22 years in the collision repair business I will be alright I think. However it has been about 5 years since I have worked in the industry.

What part of the country do you live in??? Maybe the UP, or WI? Just curious, I used to do a lot of Walleye fishing up that way.

I live in the northwest corner of Iowa. The town of Spirit Lake, the area is also known as The Iowa Great Lakes. We have 3 large lakes and several smaller ones in this one county in Iowa.

Oh dude, I could seriously dig that place! Only real difference between here and there other than the type of fish is that I can be on the water 12 months of the year....

My daughter just before I tried to get her to bite that tongue off... imagine, three seater torpedo on 100' towline that has 15' of bungee in it! Oh boy, what a ride!
