Default MAD AS HECK! Taillights changed!!!

Ok so before I sent my lil PT off into the fields of Valhalla to roam and play with other PT Cruisers, I Removed some after market parts one being the taillights. I found a good deal on the retro style lights on eBay and love them, and being only a few weeks old I was not about to send them off with my old Cruiser. However as I go to swap out the taillights I find that they changed the connectors between the 2001 and the 2008, so they do not fit, at least not right away. I could dremel a little to get the connector in or just find the 2001 connectors and switch them out. Some times it does not pay to be cheap.

Thumbs up Re: MAD AS HECK! Taillights changed!!!

a while back some one else here had the same problem and a solution i think that was posted, was a set of pigtail's for the tail lights. try using the search here and see what comes up

2006, along with changing the inside and outside features, Chrysler updated the electrics. I bigger fuse/relay box called the TIPM for the new models vs two separate boxes in the 00-05 models.

As was just said by mityqwik, a search on taillights might have shown the differences that were done to the lights.
