Where r u located techspeed?

It depends on how much u love the car.. One way is to tape off all rusted areas and get a mean sander drill attachment and take it down to shiny metal then prime it yourself till you can take it to a reputable shop.

Let it do its thing and replace the whole panels later if you so please...

Or get it fixed professionally!

I agree with Dill,if you can do the body work just fix it and have somebody repaint that area.If not, just take it to a body shop and have them do it all.It looks like a pretty simple repair so it shouldnt cost very much. They can probably repair the dent in the first picture without having to do any paint work.

Yeah. The worst thing to do is let it sit there.. Itll get under your paint and itll all flake off and itd look like crap... In my crappy old taurus I sanded a rectangle area around the rust and a little but further to be safe until I had shiny metal then I masked off everything and spray primed the area to keep it protected until I can get it done right.

Anything is better than letting the rust sit!

As far as I know, primers are not sealers..if you leave it primed it will still rust, but, I thought I was wrong once..back in 1975...but I was mistaken!

As far as i know they make primers in spray cans that prevent rust. Nonetheless in my taurus I got a can of spray car paint matched to the car paint and sprayed and clear coated that and it looks passable now, but only after sanding likea mad man to make it all smooth

Yep,they do.I stripped my '67 KarmannGhia to the bare metal(the whole car) and primed it with spray cans prior to paint and 2 years later,no rust.
