Default Prowler headlights

Has anyone seen a kit like this? It's a Prowler style headlight kit for what looks like a PT cruser. It kinda looks Pteaser-ish, but I haven't found it on their website. It may be a one off because I've never seen a frontend like it.

Hey their wbmillerkc,

Welcome to the Forum.

Not sure I 100% understand your question. Your pic I believe is showing the left front OEM headlight from a Prowler. The bumper gaurd mount under the headlight kinda gives it away.

That's not to say it couldn't be done, but to get those type of headlights to fit the PT you would have to shave the front fenders and do something like this.

I wish I could help you further.

Cool Re: Prowler headlights

That was my first thought also, Candyman.
I've seen lots of mods....but no Prowler headlamps.
The photo looked to be of a Prowler.

And, it is not uncommon for someone to mislabel a picture, or even part decsription as for a PT, rather than Prowler.

Thanks guys. I ran across that pic on eHow while looking up something on my 04. I thought it would be a cool look for the front, different than the PTeaser full grills or Xenon stuff. It would take either new fenders or good OEM headlight filler panels to bolt the concept on. I was hoping maybe there was a kit out there I hadn't run acoss yet.

Hey their wbmillerkc,

No problem.

I wish someone would go forth and try something new like that. To me I think their are tons of different things that have not been tried to make the PT more cool again. Not that their not cool now, but so much more could be done with a little imagination.

Here are just a few examples of cool things that can be done if someone really wanted to get into things.

Even an old model I did a long time ago, but cool concept.

I mean I seriously wish someone out their would commission me to take a vert and convert it into a one off full roadster with a prowler front end kinda like my Concept above. I would totally be down for trying my hand at building one for real.
rockandroller likes this.

Well Don, if my book does good when i get it published, i'll buy a vert and let you play with it. I made a promise to Ray that i would buy another PT and a Crossfire and let him have his way with them. lol

Hey their Danny,

You know I will just have to kidnap Ray and slam those sick rides into my little ol shop for a nice little mad scientist like chop, drop, and other mods as we see fit. Will have my torch, saws all, and paint gun on standby.

PS: You got a whole book now on your mad wrapping skills or what?

Didn't Chrysler already do something like that for real, as a concept? They had it on display at Cruiser the Falls a few years back and it had a Viper V10 for a power plant.

I thought, for a second, the post said Power headlights... like the flip up kind on some cars. That would be kind of a neat mod, eh? Even if just a 'lid' or something that shut over the lights. It would certainly save a lot of wear and tear on the lenses over time. Plus you could make your car 'blink'!
