By the way, he made the yellow PT on his site fro a totalled Limited into the all-steel panel that it is now, and it looks factroy.Oh, and it's for sale.

He's the one trying to do a Hemi swap on a cruiser.

No, he's the one who *is* doing the 5.7HEMI swap into a PT. I talked to him the other day and asked him how it was coming and he said that the guy doing the frame/suspension was in the process of starting the welding now that they had everything measured and jigged. It's going to have Corvette C5 front and rear suspension. He's got some pics of what it looks like now on his web site, along with pics from when he built the yellow panel. One thing he and I talked about when I was there was using the longer doors from the new convertible on a panel to make it lok more realistic as a two-door.

Never said he was the first, but it's the first I've seen up close.

He's a cool guy. Met him at Cruise to Daytona. Even did a little modeling on his awesome panel PT with my best friend. []I asked him about custom work and although his work wasnt cheap he was open to the idea and his backround and trials and errors really helped me out. Nice guy. Hopefully he makes it for Daytona 2004
