I am going to have engine cowl painted, any problem driving the car with the engine cowl removed?

Punch, the gray plastic behind the engine compartment and in front of the windshield, Your washer bottle sits under the passenger side cowl and your drivers windshield wiper goes thru the driver's side cowl.

Marty, I just had my cowls painted last week and I drove the PT without any problem. However I was careful to make sure I only drove it when the weather was good. I don't think you would want to get the snow & ice, etc. down in the engine without the cowls in place. I have an almond PT, so painting the cowls almond, instead of having them black, really helped dress up the engine compartment.
PS - I installed Blaines hood struts like yours last week, & they're a great & useful mod also.

Thanks Bob, like most people here I am obsessed with the cruiser and have been for over 3 years. My wife complains about not being able to park her car in the garage(single car garage)but she knows she is complaining in vain.
John, I am having my engine cowls painted black clearcoat along with the mirrors. Also getting a battery cover painted to match. I am getting this through airbillster. I agree the Blaines struts are nice.
