hood struts?

Question hood struts?

ive seen a few threads about a hood strut kit? but im having a hard time finding where to buy the kits? a lot of what i saw were a blaines hood kit?? they are the best and require no drilling i guess...........

where can i find these kits!!

I'm not sure if you can find a new Blaines kit out there. He stopped making them I think two years ago. I found a Clark & Clark kit, which is what I'm ordering for my PT, from Maggie at Race & Street. You'll also find out, she's the best vendor for customer satisfaction! These also say they are non-drilling.




Also, tonight I sent Maggie an email about these. I wanted to see what the install instructions say, so if I get them I'll post a copy to you.

thanks yet again chromenut....i can see if i have any questions from now on i may as well just PM you first hahaha!!


those struts are pretty pricey, i find myself wondering why i want to buy stuff for an 810000 mile PT..then i remember its either car stuff or gun stuff........i have plenty of guns already LOL so car stuff it is!!!!

You could shoot all the people Chromenut is mad at with your guns and he could pay you with the strut kit.

I can confirm that the Clark and Clark hood lift struts are easy to install, do not require drilling, and work nicely.
