MOPAR has 'ground effects' kit for the PT. It's a 6 piece set that includes 2 front and 2 rear things? for the bumper covers and side skirts. They pop up on Ebay every now and again. There's also one still sitting in my basement in the box

I have that kit on mine. If you find one get it because Mopar doesn't make them anymore.

I like those kits. Where do you park your PT at night and do you still have the guard dog, cat, duck? If the answer is duck, don't let Kevin know about it. He apparently doesn't like ducks.

yeah there almost rare these days so if/when you find one you better grab it.

On the diffusers, i think Scott (apexanimal) over on ptcrew was trying to make or get made something for his PT but dont think he got very far on it.

You could ask him over there and see what he came up with in his research.

Jerry, Jerry, Jerry. You've got it all wrong. I love my ducky and filter and wash it with Dawn to keep it crude oil free
Don't you remember the Exxon Valdiz or BP commecials

As for whats that line/filter for? iirc, it's for venting crank case vapors when in boost. Reroutes the vapors to be burned again as they pass/repass into the intake tract system. This is why in an aftermarket hot air intake system, you either put a breather or catch can or run it into the intake tube. Run it into the intake tube and gunk up your turbo=fail

Hope you know I was kidding. I added the last sentnce as an edit and I haven't found a way to add the smileys to an "edit' yet. Is there one?

Also concerning the crankcase breather element, it also allows fresh air to be drawn into the crankcase when at idle or low rpm cruising. It's a push/pull system. Also at high rpm/boost the air that is passing through the air box (with a stock box configuration) is actually pulling the high pressure air out of the crankcase as it speeds by the breather opening, in addition to the pressure alone releasing it. Darryl Cox of DCR has been preaching this for years and I've always been a firm beleiver of this principle since the 60's. Xwing777 posted a quote of the Darryl Cox explanation of this, in the same thread that I voiced my take on it. I just went back through ALL of my previous posts and I can't find it to post here. It couldn't have been deleted could it?

Xwing777 you out there to post it again?

Jerry
