I think you should remove the spoiler light. And send it to me.

(I like both both and don't think it's overkill for your PT.)

I got a better idea, tap the cling light into your running lights so that it stays on when the running lights are on. Or wire to a 12v source and install a switch so that you can turn it on and off when ever you please.

Just my .10 ( damn this exchange rate crap sucks )

Been away for a couple of days (computer problems). Just wanted to say thanks for those who responded and I will be keeping both lights.

AC, Woouldn't be legal to wire it to the running lights as it would look to most people behnd me that my brakes were always on. Don't wanna confuse the older generation down here more than they already are.

At the rate PT Cruisers are rear ended, it would be best to keep both.

keep 'em both operational. keep the cling, but do not disable the oem light. the more stuff that lights up when you hit the brakes, the better chance that the cell phone talker in back of you will wake up well before they plant themselves into the back end of your cruiser. whew! no issues here.

I didn't read all the replies and not sure if it is yet. But maybe you should rewire the stock 3rd light to a switch and maybe even change the color if you have a color skeem going. That would be hot too.
