Default Rain drip...

Anyone see a rain drip for around the top of the doors for the Cruiser?
It was like a Raingutter that went all along the roof edge of the car.

[:I]Cant find it

I do see much rain here in Western Washington but not "a rain drip" from around the top of the doors of my car. However, we do get more than our share of rainfall so I might not notice a drip or two.

Maybe I didn't make myself clear.

Years ago, cars had a rain "gutter" that was attached to the edge of the roof just above the doors. When the window was down the rain drops were channeled away from the window towards the back of the car keeping the drips from falling into the interior of the car.

HELP....IRPT... I can't find a pic of this on any of the parts websites I've gone to.

[xx(]still lookin'

cruisergeo, I have not seen nor have I been able to find a rain gutter for the PT. The side window deflectors should work for you.

I have the side window deflectors that go into the window channel. These allow you to roll your window down 2" to 3" and keep the rain out. Several places sale these, and they are usually listed on e-bay, here are a couple of places to look so you can see what I'm talking about.

A number of years ago, you could purchase them, they were chrome (plastic) that you cut to fit. They had adhesive on the back and looked stock. Haven't seen them anywhare, but haven't looked. I would check at a body shop and/or auto parts store. Good Luck!!!

CHROMED CHANNEL TRIM
Snaps on instantly. Conforms to any contour. Rust- and tarnish-proof. 16-ft. length.

Item Description Unit SKU# Price Qty. Order
Chromed Channel Trim Each 10SB3403A $9.99

[:I]It would have helped IF I wasn't dyslectic (sp.) 10SB3403A was the SKU number.(Print is to small or MATURE eyes. I went to: place order, and found the correct SKU. Sorry Don't know if this means you have to have gutters to "SNAP" it to. worth a phone call to them.

Hooligan, I believe that is just a trim piece to go over a channel which all ready exists, like the pieces on the rear door edge of our PTs.

Could be, print is VERY small, at least for me. Thought it was worth a check for him.
