Default Mopar Cruiser Rack

Hey guys/gals,

Do you have any suggestions for adding a bike rack to the Mopar PT Cruiser rack? I would love it there was a version that sat directly on top of the rack without having to use the Thule adapetrs which will raise the bike rack another 2" higher. Do you know if Mopar made one to slide inot the Mopar rack channel or if they mad a clamp that would go around that wierd shaped Mopar bar?

Why? Maybe they just have the bike rack or just the Mopar rack, not both.

Cool Bike Rack

I've been looking at bike racks myself lately. There are several that will clamp directly to the roof cross bars that I found on eBay. A quick search there will bring them up. They run between $60-$70 per bike, but as always watch the shipping cost. I haven't found any that are easily installed removed, most use U bolts to clamp to the cross bars which are more of a semi-permanent mount and will most likely mar the cross bar. My hitch mount only holds two bikes, but I think it might be easier than hoisting them up onto the roof. So for me, I need to add a class I trailer hitch.
