Default gen 3 retro tail lights installed,but...
ok,i couldn't resist...so i went and installed my new tail lights...very nice looking and different BUT...they seem unsecure,meaning a bit jiggly,movable...

i did follow instructions(just in case you think otherwise) but i'm thinking maybe i should use a little silicone glue and create a seal?

my instinct told me to adjust those clips,but i guess i have to adjust them a bit more..

i forgot to ask something else:

has anyone had their after market tail light stolen?
i noticed how easy it is to remove these things,also paranoid on attracting more attention,living in nyc no less.

i hope not...

Congrats on your 50th post, dbraveman, and let use know how those improved gen 3 retro tail lights are working for you after a month. I thought about getting some of those but decided not too after reading about all the problems with the earlier models. Hope your gen 3 have all the "bugs fixed" and they are trouble-free. Saw some gen 2 tail lights recently which had only been on the car for two weeks and they were already full of condensation.

Ours aren't the only APC lights with problems. I was at a show two weeks ago and a couple of ricers showed up. One Honda with APC chrome lights had enough condensation in the lights that you couldn't see the lights at all...and it stayed that way for the whole show...never did clear up! []
