looks good and works well--all things considered.
[8D]![]() If you live in a "metro area" you should get about the same reception as you do with the 34-inch stock antenna. But, if you live in a "fringe area" like I do, then, the 18 1/2-inch "shorty" antenna will give you some "drop-outs" and/or "static" from time to time. Except for AM news and a couple FM music stations, I listen mostly to CDs so this is not a concern for me. PT-Tuning (http://www.pt-tuning.com/) had them on special a few weeks ago for only $9.95. Looks great Gary; sweet little piece, isn't it? I concur with everything said about reception, plus, if it looks this good on Seamist Green and Graphite Metallic (how different can two colors be?) then it ought to look good on any color!

Gary
My shorty from Moss Motors is the same length. I loose a few stations as I'm driving around but mostly use the CD anyway! Lookin good...but you need the chrome bezel to complete the package.Don't think the pic will show up but will give it a try... ![]()

I have a 10" shorty antenna, does just fine around town, probably won't pick up much once I get away from town though.

Have a 6inch chrome shorty antenna. From of course shortyantennas.com Also listen to CD's only so recption isn't a factor. Get local stations just fine, but not to good on a trip. But, again don't care. Check it out on my web site. Well, I love the look.

Sorry for the bad spelling, brain ahead of fingers. By the way the antenna was 35 dollars.

I just realized if you look at my web site the picture of the antenna is too far away, I'll work on getting a close up. So, never mind.

One thing I did notice was the decal on the back window can be seen well, thanks again Gary for the great idea. Love how it looks and it seems to provoke people. You, know what I mean, they need to show me somethin, somethin! I'm done blithering.
