Exclamation Rims or tail lights first

I was just curious, should i do the rims or the tail lights first

Rims: 16" Milanni Stealth 461 FWD Gloss Black Machined Face
Chrysler PT Cruiser Milanni at Andy's Auto Sport

Tail Lights: Spec-D Tuning LT-PTC01G-APC Smoked Tail Lights
LT-PTC01G-APC Spec D Tail Lights - Smoke for 01-up Chrysler PT_Cruiser at Andy's Auto Sport

Jut asking for an opinion, i might do the lights first though because they are cheaper

Rims, they're nice... Shipping's gonna double the price I bet ! I got headlights there and to move them to Canada was almost a C note.

The Turbo is strong, fast and reliable.. People that don't understand the love of a PT, probably don't deserve to.

First, welcome to the forums PTVibe, nice to see what you're looking at, those are both excellent sets. Personally, I agree with you, go for the easy and less expensive mod first. You'll step back and look at your PT with a big smile on your face. Those are really nice tails.

As to the wheels, you really need to update your signature block (go to UserCP at top left, then select signature on the left side) with a list of mods you've already got, along with short details of your PT. For instance, '06 PT GT Convertible, Silver Metallic, 17x7 Drifterz from MB, stainless intake, upper and lower pipes, custom tune (93 & race), stage 2 clutch, stage 3 IC, custom horns, etc. This way when you ask questions here, we're more able to help you out.

On the wheels, did you check the offset to insure they will not hit your calipers? Also, what model PT do you have??

Oh, and...

ditto on the tails. i have them on my '02 and it's a HUGE improvement. i wrapped mine in the black door edge guards which gave them a perfect fit. i think they were 1/4 in. get a roll of the stuff as the 14 in just aren't long enough (found out the hard way).

I just figured out how to change and ad pictures after I posted this. 2001 PT Cruiser Limited Edition, and what's the best way to find out if the offset will cause the rims to hit my calipers? Thanks"

The taillights or the rims first? I have to go with the lights first. You can get them sooner because of the lower cost.

It's neat to see another Missourian on the forum. What part of KC are you in?
