Default Front grill

Hi guys, first post and proud owner of my first pt cruiser. I have a question, a dumb one probably, but a question none the less. The front grill I have seen on a few customised cruisers look huge and take up a lot of the front, and no bumper. How do I go about it, is it just a case of ripping the front bumper off, smoothing it out and replacing it with the larger grill? I'd like the front to look like the picture below.

At the moment, mine looks like this

Thanks

You have to get both the grill and bumper cover (and the inner bumper brace, I believe) from PTeazer. It's a complete set. Then it's off to the paint shop.

Notice there are 2 styles, smooth bumpers and 'dimpled' bumpers as shown in your photos.

I think it depends on which kit you buy, they show on some kits 'Mounts to original factory bumper attachment locations for easy installation'('Bumperette' & 'Rollpan'),The 'Smoothie' actually shows the inner bumper brace.....I'm not 100% on this, maybe some PTeazer owners know a little more in depth.
