Default bumper front and back

I have gray factory bumpers on a white limited 2002.
It has a white residue on edges that looks like left on masking tape. Has any one has a problem like this and how did dealer service dept. handle it?

There have been many posts on this problem. Check first with the dealer. If they don't help, go to the Chrysler Regional Rep. Chrysler has replaced bumpers on many PT Cruisers with this problem.

2 friends of mine actually made deals to have the Dealer paint their bumpers to get rid of the marks instead of replacing them. Had them painted the body color at no cost.[?]

Welcome, Stirfry.

Some have gotten dealer to paint the bumpers, some have had them painted at their own expense. I found Finish 2000 hides it for a while, I now have a painted bumper cover.
