license plate LEDs

Got a new pair of license plate frames today. They have tiny wires to activate the LEDs. Yeah, yeah, I know, "chezzy light-up license plate frames, you've seen one, you've seen 'em all." But I dig 'em. Anyway, does anyone know where to hook up these tiny wires to get these things goin? I imagine the front would be tricky if not impossible. Thanks, Y'all...

I would think they don't draw much current, so you'd probably be okay tapping off the running lights.

I originally had one of these hook up in my Nissan. I hit a curb on it blow up. Pressure sensitive glass.
I had run it off my aftermarket foglights power line and into the inside to a switch.

I have green ones on my cruiser and tapped into the licence plate light wire. This way, the plate is still lit up along with the green LEDs. If you lay on your back under the bumper, you can see the wires kinda tucked up there. Just use a multimeter to see which one comes hot when you turn on your lights. It has been a while since I did mine so I don't remember the color.

i have an LED exhaust tip that i wired up to the rear running lights (and white LED washer nozzles up to the front running lights)
those two places were pretty easy to get at and hav ethe added effect of flashing with the running lights when the alarm is armed or disarmed.[:X]
