How would chrome look on white?

I have a stone white PT and i've been looking into chrome accent peices for the grille and the side spears but i don't know how chrome would look on the white, any opinions?

Hey VellianPT. Personally, I think the chrome would look VERY tasteful on white. I'm just not too wild about the brushed look with white. I think you can make it look fantastic with just the right amount. Albeit an odd example, think of the white limos or any higher-end car; they're usually decked out in chrome...not brushed aluminum.

Chrome would look red hot, but gold would look s#!t hot. Check out the latest issue of BLVD. Magazine. There are two heavily modded cruisers in there, one is white with gold. Anything that is chrome on a stock PT is gold on this one, and then some. Kinda looks like something God would drive, or maybe Elvis...

yeah i might start small maybe grille insert and side spears i need a bit more to make it stick out, well besides the flames, so thanks for the imput

I like white Cruisers and chrome would make it hotter.

There are a few accessories, normally chromed, that are made in a dark color for light Cruisers. I can't remember exactly, but think the chrome beltline & Grille from EG can be found in these colors. They should appear on a lot of the vendor sites.

We are picking up our Cool Vanilla GT this morning and we ordered it with the Chrome Accent Pkg so we will know soon what some chrome looks like on that color. A friend at work has a Stone White '03 GT that has quite a bit of chrome and I think it looks pretty good. I am considering adding the chrome headlight and taillight trims and the door handle trims as well.

That looks great Jimbo. Makes your cruiser look more upscale. I like the chrome a lot...esp your application of it.
