Question: Why do you have a blue grille on a white PT? Is it made from some sort of special material?

becuase i have blue flames, well outlined right now and i'm getting vynl to fill them in, that option one option two is take it and paint it up a little differently, like the horizontal parts leave blue and the vertical parts white, its basically a grille to experiment with

I think it looks great - provides contrast. I offered my silver stock grille to a PT'er at work with a dark green one - I think that would've looked sharp, too, but he declined. I ended up giving my grille to someone who didn't back up far enough and closed the garage door on theirs....

I like the colour contrast with the metalic blue. Your idea of the horizontal parts leave blue and the vertical parts white sounds good. It would look good if the sides or ends could be made to fade to white and blend in with the rest of the car.

The new M3 mirrors in white would look great on the car. They are on sale at http://store.yahoo.com/eracingzone/m3powmirwled.html at 49.00 for PT's (just a thought)[:I]

Humm, I have a white PT. I like the color. gives me Idea's. Maybe would look better blended or, somehow two tone it. Bule bars white background. I wonder if their is a software program you could use to mess with the idea. You could two tone other parts of the car as well to give it a theme.

I"ve thought about doing something like that. I like it
and I think it will look good when the flames are finished.
I think blending into the white would look great and the bottom
needs to be done also.IMHO. It's off to a good start. Good luck at
the job interview[?]

I wasn't too sure at first, but after reading the full thread and looking at options (like filling in the flames) I think it would look pretty cool, especially if you fade the paint inside the grill.

Maybe something like this:
