Thanks sakigt... on my 2004 there appears to be a hole to screw in a second horn, so perhaps if I can get the right bolt, I can attach the second horn to the car there.

Have a 04GT. OK but adding the Hella horns is not really easy. First I took of the left frunt wheel because that is where the Clenton book said the horn was and removed the inside fender stuff. Not there. So this AM early I took off the right frunt wheel and there is was. But I did not have enough elect clips so back on with the wheel and back to the parts store. I also bought a plastic retainer remover tool (you really need it). Back into the garage and off with the wheel again and off with the inside fender plastic. You only need to undo the frunt part of the plastic and bend it back out of the way. Boy there is just not much room for the two horns but after about an hour of bending and saying bad things I got them hooked up.
During all of this I found that my tork wrench did not work, so I had to go to Sears and get it fixed. I also bought a nice 1/4 inch metric socket set. Getting the small screws out of the fender well plastic is really hard with out a small socket set and with out a socket and an extention I would have never, never have gotten the mounting screw holding the new horns in place. But all is well and they sound good. After that I had to sit on the back porch and have three beers and read a good book for a while.

Most of the tools I have gotten in the last year have been to do work on my GT
Had to build a work bench in my garage just to have a place for all of them. Kept bringing them up and down from the basement workbench.

Reason enough to do this mod, if you ask me!

I'll put in four horns if I can finish off half a case[]

No way, 4 horns. You could probably put another one under the left frunt fender, IF you had a full case.

white, what did you attach the second horn to? did you attach both horns to the original bolt that held the first horn? I see what looks like a second threaded hole on my 04 GT, so I was thinking if I got another bolt, the second horn would atach there...

The second hole is where the original 2nd horn tone went when the PT first came out. They eliminated it in '03 I believe so I would use that hole. If you find out what size bolt it takes please post for us.
thanks

regarding the bolt (I have not bought one or tested this yet) there was another thread here that mentioned the following ( http://www.ptcruiserlinks.com/forum/...erms=horn,bolt )

"...As I recall, it is an M6x20 (metric). You will probably not be able to find a self threading bolt (I couldn't) but you can remove the bolt holding the existing low note horn and use it to thread the hole for the high note horn then the bolt you buy will screw in with no problem..."

I put both horns on the same origional bolt and in the same whole. Looks like there is another hole but I don't think it would have been any better. It is just TOO tight in there. Great Fun Though.
