Found out why the smoked taillights...

...dont stay smoked. I removed what was left of the finish today with nothing more than rubbing alcohol. What a joke. Anywho. Used some spray tint and viola!

Hmmmm, both little red x's look the same to me......freakin' ImageStation! Usually I can get the images to load but I've tried everything this time around and just can't get 'em. I really want to see the after shots 'cause I want to do the same thing to mine.

For some strange reason if I copy and paste the URL into Mozilla Firefox I can see the pix. I just can't see them in IE - time to call Bill Gates and ask him why his stupid browser doesn't want to display the pix!

Bah. Checkout the new thread "new look" in gen turbo and you'll see em. I made a quick trip to my photoshoot area today before the rain tookover and updated my cardomain site.

Someone had posted the following tip on one of the forums a while ago for getting the X's to show as pictures. Don't know if you have already tried it, but it worked for me (nice effect in the "after" pics, by the way):

"Right Click" the X. scroll down to "Properties" & select. A URL address will show in the properties box. Copy that & paste it to your browser. Hit Enter & the pic will come up. Then hit the Back arrow & the pic should appear in the post.

It is a "spray tint" you used, never heard of that, where did you buy that stuff?

VHT makes NIGHT SHADES. I tinted my OEM's around a year and half ago. It's still dark but transparent. It HAS lost it's gloss though. 2 winters and many,many car washes. So it holds up pretty good. I used one can to do both lights. You can get it from www.summitracing.com
