Default Keystone Good Hood Install Help

Well after over 10 years in search of the Keystone Single Scoop Good Hood finally found one on Graigs List. A 8 hour round trip but hopefully it will be worth it when it is finally install and painted.

Been doing some research but not alot of info.
Anyone have some tips before I start?
Also not sure how I can use hood struts
or what I need to do to install the struts?

Its a bolt on. Install as you have on your stock hood. You may need to get the 65lb shocks to hold it if the weight is more on the new hood.

The hood seems much lighter than the stock hood so I don't think that will be a problem.
What I am seeing is you need another bolt on the hood about 3 inchs from the front bolt. There is no hole for the second bolt for the hood strut upper flange.

Gonna make the "snorkel" functional?

That's the plan. The seller also threw in an Airaid cold air take, poweraid throttle body spacer and MSD plug wires.
The Airaid is for a NA that I will modify to fit the turbo. I bought a new filter element from Amazon for $19. So I need to work on that.
I don't think I will use the poweraid from what I have been reading they don't do anything. I'll hold on to wires for now.

Hood install. All I had to do is match up the nuts where the old hood was attach to the hood hinges. Next got to get a date to paint.

After doing some research got the hood struts install. Was not sure what do to do with the missing hole in the hood. Spoke with Keystone, the Tech advise that the hoods are reinforce that I should be able to drill a hole and install a screw. Which I did. Also added a washer between the hinge and the upper mounting plate to level the plate against the hood.

Is that wiper cover a PITA with snow? I mean if car is outside and gets snowed on, how do you get snow out if it gets ice crusted?
