Default 2004 pt touring cam sensor

What is the cam sensor, & how much does it cost? This is my first post I just joined this morning. Thanx for any help! Thanx

Located on the drivers side of the head near the airbox. I'm running a couple of aftermarket sensors but some on here are oem only. So your choice. to bolts and a plug. Definitely a DIY.

Depending on the brand you buy, about $25-$80.

And, what it is is a magnetic reader that reads the position of a magnet on the end of camshaft to determine cam position - it sends reading to engine computer so it knows when to trigger ignition spark.
