Default Well, I did it

I took off my side pillars and dropped them off at my paint shop today, guess what color the posts are when you take off the plastc covers, THEY MATCH YOUR CAR! too bad it doesn't have the finished look, Now that I see what the posts look like in inferno red, I can't wait to get them put back on painted the same. ROCKIN IN CHICAGO. Gary
p.s. I will post pics for you.

That sounds like a good look. Hope they work well and look good when they go back on.[?]

Wonder why Chrysler went with the covers, altho I like mine the way it is with Mirrors & pillars blending in with the darkened glass.
Seems it woulds been cheaper to finish the posts body color and eliminate the post covers.

Don I sure that's what they thought also. If they did the pillars
in body color than they would have to paint the mirrors. It's
probably cheaper to do them all in black. If it cost more they
wouldn't do it.Gary, can't wait to see pics, thinking of going
that way also.

I would imagine that the mirrors would be finished by the supplier. The colors wouldn't match the vehicle color. You KNOW how particular we PT owners are!!! Wouldn't want us owners screaming at DCX now, would we???
