Default 03 GT with factory flame kit

This is my 03 GT with factory flame kit. I bought this car 4 months ago with low miles on it. Since I got it, I changed to HID lights in front, tinted taillights in back , all led lights inside, I installed the factory spoiler and changed the stereo to a JVC with a Kenwood amp and sub. My double din bezel is finished and just gotta find the time to install the new stereo.

Cool Re: 03 GT with factory flame kit

Cool!
You say factory flames....but they are vinyl, right?
If so, what mileage?
Better take care of her...like garage and out of the sun.

Thank you sooner, yes they are like a matrix sticker that act like ghost flames, some days you can barely see em , some days they are very vibrant orange and red. Not sure of the conversion but it just hit 100,000 kms when I bought it, it was well taken care of by an older lady. I searched the Internet looking at thousands of pt cruisers and only a few with factory flames and can only find one pic of one the same as mine.

Got tired of cocking my head to the side. Here it is right side up.

You just can't do better than that Inferno Red. Very nice car.

Here's what I was able to find on the flame kit:

DECAL for 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser|WQ53ZS8AB

They are ordered by color code of the vehicle. It would be cool to see what the flame colors would be on the other body colors.

Cool Re: 03 GT with factory flame kit

The reason that I mentioned really taking care of the car's paint is...
I have seen some posts where folks remove vinyl like flames after a number of year, and the paint had faded everywhere, except under the vinyl.
This gave them big headaches.
