It's a good choice mate. I did a review of the hood here: http://www.ptcruiserlinks.com/forum/...?TOPIC_ID=6973

I got it through BTG, the price has gone up a little, they have it listed at 597.95 now. The best part with BTG is they only charge $85 for shipping (They shipped through Yellow Freight Carriers), most of the places I looked at when I was buying wanted $115+ for shipping.

Since it's functional you'll need an open top air box (Airaid, Keystone...).

Great hood though, by far the best mod I've made to my PT.

I have the dual scoop hood from the same maker, and am very happy with it. Just installed the new airbox to go with it about a week ago, and I'm loving it.

Have to get my digital camera fixed first. Plus I've kinda
been waiting on pics until after I install the tribal dragon
design on the hood. Found one that will fit perfectly around
the perimeter of the raised scoops with very minor modifications.

Still have to decide on a design that I like for the sides that
will match both the style of the dragon and fits with the curvy
style of the PT. It'll all be ghosted in over the electric blue
stock paint job.

Hood looks great, but, what does the aerodynamic drag of that forward facing hood scoop do to your top end. The PT is already like a brick in the wind, this scoop has got to rob some top end performance. Or am I way off?

If you are referring to the single scoop, I don't think much. I can pull past 100 with np. Scoop is functional, so the air is running through the bay anyway.
I could understand if it was non-functional and closed and that would create a barrier. Single scoops contours are subtle and only diff b/n that and OEM hood is a smooth small hump in the hood.
