Default pic without side spears?
does anyone have a pic without the side spears?
i an interested in removing them , but im unsure to what it may or may not look like, and would it adversely affect safetly of door being bumped in a parking lot?

I don't have a pic right now, but I removed mine right around delivery time. Looks much better. Then I cut out some vinyl and installed it within the indentation. The trick here is the spears cannot be used as a template. All done freehand [?]

The only kind of "safety" you need be concerned about is the %@##!(^^%^% you'll be doing during the spear removal process. Children: Stay Back 500 Feet!

Here is a picture I took at the recent Northwest PT Event, Mossyrock, WA, of a PT Cruiser with the side spears removed and replaced with flat sealed wood pieces. [8]

here is a pic of mine right after i did it to mine they were one of the first thing i took off after the emblems on the doors, i have since shaved all the door handles, the hood pissers, and the front chysler wings soonn the antenna and the rear hatch handle will be shaved too here is the pic

I don't know. [:I] It believe it was done by a painter down in Oregon, possibly in the Eugene area.
