Aftermarket Lettering

An aftermarket vendor here in Florida does superb work on what they call "Car Candy". What I ended up buying is 3D lettering for the tailgate. There's no web site, just a telephone number and name...1-407-461-9222. Ask for Lou. The place is called "Zee's Automotive Aftermarket"

What material is the lettering made from plastic, metal?????

There's a thin chrome flat background around each letter and the letters themselves seem to be red shiny 3D plastic. It's hard to see on my friends convertible but he's had the "GT" "Turbo - High Output" and both "PT Cruiser" side emblems done in the red/chrome lettering.



They also do lettering and logo's for seats that look exactly like stitches, but there heated onto the fabric.

I thought I answered that question but it must have been on another forum.

NO..he can make lettering in ANY color including Carbon Fiber and they can be with or without the chrome outline on the letters.

I can do the same thing on the lettering in any size and format that you would like. The way that it is done is your lettering is cut out of a vinyl of your choice. It doesn't have to be lettering, it can be shapes also. After your shape is made a special material is then applied to the shape which gives it a 3D effect. This is a liquid plastic material that is uv stable so that it will not yellow. Height is usually 1/16-1/8 tall. It varies with the complexity of the shape. The thinner the lines usually the lower the height. Something like "Crewzin Edition" would typically run $30 in any color you wanted. Reflective, gold and chrome can be done also.

That's a pretty good price. I paid $55 including shipping. Your profile has nothing about you. Do you do this stuff for a living...is there a web site to look at your product? Without seeing what you talking about, there's not too many people going to send you a check and hope for the best.
