Default This is a l o n g shot ?

I have been after the old PT Cruiser wing for ever for my convert. The other day I was in traffic, and saw a older VW (maybe 2010/2011 ?) Beetle with a VW wing. Said to myself 'I wonder if that would work on my convert'? I guess the l o n g shot question is...does anyone own a VW (with a wing) and a PT Cruiser convert to compare?

What do you mean "wing"? Are you talking about the spoiler on top of the back hatch? If so, you should be able to find one in a junkyard or on ebay or amazon.

This is one of the few missing pieces I don't yet have for the PT vert project I'm planning. From a photo comparison, the PT Vert spoiler and the VW spoiler are very different. Also, I believe the VW coupe and VW vert use the same spoiler.

Also, the OEM numbers for the PT convertible spoiler are 82208625 (silver), 82208624 (black) and 82208622 (primer). But the only new ones available appear to be very expensive.

Here's some installation instructions:

Thanks very much for the picture comparison. The VW Wing I saw had two legs like the Cruiser Wing.
