Default Rims

I was watching mtv some show were they were showing the stars cars and someone i cant rember who but put like 20" rims on the back and like 19" rims in the front and Ithough that was a neat idea. I just bought a 2003 onyx green pt and wanted to know if any has done this or if you think its a good idea.

Sup doggy, mine aren't that big but I run 17's front and 18's rear, I think it gives it a more street rod look and it hasn't affected the driving a bit, if 19's and 20's will clear, go for it!

be cool, James <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Thanks guys im going to try it I think it would be some thing diffrent. My only concern is when you are suppose to rotate your tires that the wheels will end up looking backwards.

James can you post any pics of how your pt looks?

bobs ill do that might be awhile though wating for that income tax check.

I have 18" wheels all the way around. They fit fine. I've seen a PT with 20" wheels in the back. They won't fit on the front. 19" also might be a problem on the front. The one I saw with 20" on the rear has 18" on the front. Don't go wider than 8"...I'm told it'd be a problem clearing it all in the front. With 18" in front and 20" in back, you wouldn't rotate tires. Now, if you bought a WHOLE set of 4 of each size wheel, you could simply put the unused ones on.
