Default Rear Mud Flaps with Lights

I worked on a project yesterday that proved quite challenging.

I recently caught a couple of sales on e-bay. Rear Mud flaps the seller accepted my offer for $10,00 for new rear mud flaps.
Mud Flaps Molded Splash Guards for 2010 2011 PT Cruiser 2011 2012 Town Countr | eBay

Mud flap lights by plasma Glow part #10445 open box $10.00
LED Mud Flap Kit | eBay

CURT 55532 T-Connector for adding towing lights
Amazon $43.19
https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-list...&condition=new

I wanted to add the functioning mud flap lights without splicing tail light wires so the Curt wiring harness was necessary. (Brake function, Hazard, turn signals, running and reverse)

This video was very helpful

Running and tucking wires with my head underneath the car for hours lol
I also added a little bling to the flaps with trim and reflectors.
I am pleased with the outcome.

I've never seen that done. I like it!

I thought they'd come on with lights, but in the pic, they look like they are on, but lights aren't???

For the picture I put the hazards on to show the lights. But the do also light up with the brakes, turn signals and when the headlights are on.
(All the functions of the rear lights)

Looks pretty sexy Danny! Gotta love that cruiser, probably one of the best I've seen on here Where do all your added exterior lights hook up to? Do you have a console?

The mud flap lights plugged into the trailer hitch harness. Power for that I had to run a wire from the battery with a fuse through the firewall.

The rear camera lights in the center come on when the radio is on. I installed an aftermarket radio a couple of months back. One of the options on install was to have these lights come on once the radio power is on.
Thanks for the compliment on the Cruiser!
