Hood worped

Well I got my new hood on and it has a little worp
on the pass side,nothing real major. Didn't notice until
after it was painted and put on.Is there any way to try
to correct it maybe heat and preasure or do I just
have to live with it.Any help would be great. I getting
real tired of getting mods that I have to tweak. forgot
it's a good hood 1 fiberglass

Jimbo, First off, thanks for your response to my 'BRA' post. Does your Bra have a 'felt like' lining or not? Anyway about your worp...maybe, just maybe they'll work with you. After all it is their reputation. I had them take back a hood scoop a few years ago even though it was painted. So very often you can't see these defects until the product is painted. I know what you mean about, every mod has to be tweeted. Its the price we pay to be unique. Good luck!

Fiberglass has a tendency to warp and look like poo. My hood (although not noticeable.. I suppose everyone will look at it now) has two "dents" where the hindges are. My thoughts are if its not too noticeable leave it alone. You may make it more obvious by messing with it now that its painted. [:I]

Did the painted stick the hood in the area where they have cars after there painted? Some of them "bake" the cars to cure the paint faster. Could it have been "warped" by the painter? Can it be heated and "un-warped" ? Just thoughts to ponder.

Jim,
My Keystone has the same slight bow on the passenger side.
Subtle, but I can run my finger under the hood edge. The driver side is normal tho.
Thought I was the only one.
Crewzin, mine was warped when I test fitted it, but I assumed that because the alignment was a touch off that maybe this was the problem. When I push on the area, it doesn't shift, so I think it is molded a little off.

I've been keeping an eye on mine (Keystone brand as well). In particular watching the area above the hinges as it was a really tight fit. So far no distortion or bows. Crossing my fingers to hope it stays that way.

My hood around the hindges is fine. Just has a slight
on the passenger side
.No one seems to notice it but me,so I guess it's
OK the guy at the body shop said there is nothing he can do
about it.It does look good though.I looking for so kind of clip\on
washers that go on the wipers. So far no luck.
