Default Anybody know how to remove the pillar appliques?

The black appliques on my B and C pillars are starting to show their age. I would like to remove them so that I can paint them. Does anybody know how they com off?

I am referring to the black metal covers that attach to the doors and cover the vertical pillars near the side windows.

Like rob said, pull the weatherstripping out of the channel and the screws will be in the channel. The toughest ones to get to are on the back door bottom screw on the front trim pieces, because the glass doesn't go all the way down. But you can push the glass out of the way, stuff a rag in the hole at the bottom or you'll likely drop a screw inside the door, then you'll have to remove the door panel to retrieve it. There's also a screw on the inside of the door to remove the bottom weatherstripping, remove that first to get the appliques off. You only need to remove one screw on the front doors, the weatherstriping doesn't have to come off completely on the front doors. Also on the appliques are some small shims at the top, they might be loose so don't lose them, you can glue them back onto the applique.
