Default Intake Cover

Anyone know where i can order blue/painted/or anodized covers for my plastic(still amazed by that) intake manifold?

Just paint the intake? wouldnt the paint mess with heat transfer/etc?
Im a lil bit ignorant on this one. If i can paint it what do i use for primer and what paints will be close to the blue that my pt is? Tips needed please.

Haven't done it myself - lotsa folks have painted modesty covers and used body paint from dealer. Another common practice is to use a paint pen and hit the ridges on the intake.

Exactly! i want a blue intake. except the blue for 2k3 is darker.

Also, did they use the modesty cover for the 2k3 at all? i have seen mixed opinions.

Some early 2002s had them, then they stopped.

Just plain enamel paint will work. The modesty cover and the upper manifold don't get hot enough to hurt anything.
