......side spears.....do I cover or replace...?

Default ......side spears.....do I cover or replace...?

...Gentlebeings......some help please.....my 2001 Patriot blue PT is in mint shape except for one thing....thanks to drivers who don't know how to open a door, my door moldings have been banged up....I've seen the aftermarket ones on the web and would love to put the chrome ones on....any idea's which way is better.....the chrome spears the you glue over the existing spears or the spears from E&G,stainless steel ones that replace the factory spears....any comments and/or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.......thanx.....Arisaig..........

They both glue on.The cover ones are a lot easier to put on.
And they look just as good.I would go that way,IMHO I try real
hard not to park by people. I park way out at wal mart etc.,but they
seem to hunt you down.

I've had the overlays on my PT for about a year now and haven't had any problems with them. Please note - I NEVER take it through a car wash - hand washes only.[8D]
