Everytime I see the listing on a web page selling the light covers, they always say it is illegal to drive with them on? I always see cars with these covers on driving around, do they cut down on the amount of light produced?, I like them, but it makes no sense to buy em for show only, if you can't drive around with them on/ any comments? turbomangt

I've checked out a hundred covers too and can't seem to get any consistency in what is said. I think it's because laws vary from county to county and state to state. Maybe a call to local PD or State Troopers would be best?

we have a guy in our club with a dream cruiser tail light covers on never has had trouble but yet they are not legal at all !!

you can see the turn signals, brake lights, etc just fine with the ones one this guys drean cruiser
