Default Enough Chrome?
Okay...I added some chrome side spears today. Soooo....chrome wheels, chrome door handle scratch guards and now chrome side spears. To me, that's about right for a Stone White PT. I have some silver belt line flames to add also. Will that be too busy with the existing chrome?

Opinions welcome!

Heck no!!! Chrome away!!!!I've got all that you mentioned plus lots more. I've got chrome beltline, chrome door molding,grill, inserts(front and back),wheels,antenna,fuel door,sills,and still going. To me it gives it a real classic look. To each their own!

I think with the beltline, you'd be just about right. I think you should still be able to see the original color of the car, if you wanted it chrome, get silver metallic. I wouldn't add much of anything more on the outside, but there's always the inside.

Yeah, I'd add a beltline, fuel door, bumper inserts, antenna and antenna bezel. I think that would "connect" the chrome.

Maybe covering those black plastic washer nozzles on the hood would add a "nice touch" to your car. [:I] PT Warehouse has these chrome "goodies" for $9/pair. [8D]

Thanks all! I think I'll add the silver beltline flames and see if that is enough. I do like the chrome washer nozzle covers though...might have to get a pair of those for the final touch.

I've been fighting the "too much chrome" battles for a while now and any more "goodies" will be a loss in the war.

I swear each time I think the look is complete I have a "chromepiphany" and see something new that needs to be chromed. Door spears are next and I haven't even installed the rear bumperettes I bought at CTF4 yet.

does anyone find the chrome washer nozzle covers causing glare from the sun while you are driving?
