If I had that trunk kit, I'd be tempted to do another PT wagon. That's pretty unique.

I wonder if it was a panel applied to the stock hatch, and then you had to have the body work and painting done, or if it was a completely new hatch that you had painted to match and then installed?

The photo with the trunk lid open appears to show the stock hatch behind it. So I'd say it's just a fiberglass piece applied to the stock hatch. Then a little "Inferno Red" paint was added.

That's what I thought, but if you look at the seams inside where the fiberglass panel would have to match the stock hatch, it looks very well blended and very little of a seam visible.
