Cool Morette Euro Headlight Assemblies

OK, so after watching a few posts and poo-poo posts about the Morette headlights for the PT Cruiser I took a Bite!
But not for the $700 each!

I went to the Morette Web Site and placed a "parts order" for the Bezels only for the Morette headlights.

**AND, I GOT A RESPONSE FROM THEM.
(I may have inadvertantly only ordered one side, and confused the "60" with converting to 120Eu.

My plan would be to put in my own PT compatible headlights; and hook up the center turn signal lamp to a custom made (DIY) side signal and reflector in order to be DOT compliant.

Ya'll know that I always go for something "different"!

Frank,

Good find and you were very resourceful to just get this far.

I zoomed in and took a close look at the assembly. I think you're going to have your hands full on this mod, but if anybody can do it, you can.

They must have the bezels on the shelf...as I just got a UPS shipping notice!

I will be going slow and steady when I do this.
No rush, as I just installed new headlamp assemblies not but 4 months ago.

I have already been researching headlamps.
I'm thinking LEDs on the turn signals; Halo/Halogen for the low beams; and sealed beam highs.
I'll just have to wait to see the size of the openings, and research a little on LEDs and any harness mods.
wwpptc likes this.
