OEM blades are shot. Has anyone installed those Bosch Micro Edge blade assemblies? When it's below freezing out, the stockers don't like to even touch the windshield in some places.
Comments and part#s for front and rear would be appreciated. |

I have used them for last few years with mixed results. When they are new and for about 2 to 3 years they do well. Nice clean swipes but when they age they tend to tear up and without much warning the metal spring tensioners spring out if you are not watching they can scratch the windshield. I have used mine in the Mountains and they seem to take overnight periods of freeze fine! They cost around $25 a pair but last a little longer than most!

A coupe of wiper blade tips that have worked for me. I replace them evry year just a part of my maintance so I go with stock blades. As you all know the pollution is just getting worse so if you clean the blades with alcohol that should keep a clear view a little longer.
If you know that there will be snow sleet etc. raise the wiper blades so that they don't freeze to the windshield. <img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle> Cruise on! |
