I searched and couldn't find a exact answer. The Xenon spoiler has anyone got away with not doing any drilling and just using tap? Gary you told me about how you see the screw coming out a little bit but I wasn't sure if you decided to not use any screws or if you got a smaller one. I just got mine in today and gonna try and get it painted/installed this weekend.

I've installed 2, Yes the screw IS necessary, it holds the ends down just not the ones it comes with. They need to be a 1/4" shorter and I would recommend using a wider tape as well as Auto prep surface cleaner it's a wax, grease etc. cleaner. If there is any wax on the surface the tape WILL give. Also install it on a warm day, that way the plastic will conform to the roof easier.[8D]

Thx for the info air.
Just two questions getting 1/4" shorter screws just go to Ace or should cut down the ones they gave me? And auto prep cleaner, they gave me two packets of stuff to use i dont have them with me so am not sure on the name. Is 100bux reasonable for painting it glass black, paint code PX8 |

Go to ACE, these are self tapping screws, you need that. Go to an auto parts store Pep Boys, Auto Zone etc for "Auto Prep" by KleenStrip, it in a aerosol can or "Prep-All" non aerosol. The stuff the give you is alchohol pads, it won't remove the wax effectivley.
