Don't we just love pictures. I had a bumper cover on the front, but took it off, sold it to QSD and had my local painter do the OEM bumper. The rear had already been done awhile back.

There's nothing stopping you from having them painted. A lot of dealers won't do it as it's a couple step process and needs a lot of prep work, but any good competent shop should be able to fix ya up. It's been asked before, and the going price is around $300 for both bumpers, but of course there's too many factors to count exactly on that price.

had mine done a few months ago. couldn't be happier! agree with CREWZIN that if you are going to do it, find a good shop that will do it right. look for one that will sand off the textured coating of the old gray ones, prime, and paint. search the forums and i'm sure you will find lots of pictures and stories about painted bumpers. have to ask if your bumpers have tape marks?

You DEFINTELY get what you pay for when it comes to paint. Don't lowball. I did and Im going to throw down this spring to get every aftermarket part I have re-painted. [xx(]

Like cali said... you might be able to get it done for free under waranty like I did. But before that I took my PT to a shop in San Diego and they want it almost 500 bucks to paint them. I waited and thanks to this place I found the posts about the tape marks and took it back to the Dealer and it was so easy to get them to order new ones and to get them paint, it was actually a little hard to believe.[8)]
