has anyone had any problems with these lights other then the fact that you need an orange turn signal bulb? has anyone had condesation or melting problems with them? do they all come with the gasket along one side? is it wise to get these from ebay? (they got some great deals on them!!!)

thanks (and yes i did the search first) [|)]

I got mine off Ebay for $62.00
Had them on the car for a week now and it has rained twice,no condensation so far,and yes mine have the gasket along one edge.
Takes a little adjusting to align them as they a a fraction smaller than stock but once aligned they look great.
I have no issues with them.

I've had those lights for several months and although it hasn't rained here in SoCal since March I do wash my car regularly. No condensation problems at all.

I've had those taillights, purchased off of E-bay, for 6 months now, had condensation in them once (I live in GA, avg humidity is about 60%). They are a great set of taillights. You need to get a pair of amber bulbs, or you can get a set of silver bulbs that will light up amber, pretty cool.

Had mine on since May.....no problems what so ever. Be prepared to answer questions from PTers with factory taillights..

I have the same tail lights that Stone has and use the stock bulbs. There is nothing illegal with them. If you look at some of the newer cars that are being produced, some of them have clear blinkers. The only requirment for blinkers is that they should to be a different color then the brake lights. So clear bulbs are perfectly fine.

I think those would look good on any PT but.. be sure to get chrome coated Bulbs which has Amber In it and it lights up Yellow during the day or night.. pretty nifty.

State requirements vary, but I know here in Arizona, clear is not acceptible for rear turn signals - must be red, yellow or amber and back-up lights MUST be white. They do not have to be different color, but they do have to "blink" and be distinguishable from brake lights.
