Default emblems

I brought this topic up once before and didn't get much feedback so hear I go again. Has anyone changed or added any emblems on their car. LIke "custom" or "GT" , or even for that matter. Have you removed stuff. I saw a cruiser on the road the person took off "pt cruiser" on the sides, just had a graphic on it> looking for new ideas. turbomangt

Not much but I took off the emblems (I have an Electric Blue GT). I like the look. Easy to clean and wax too. Towel doesn't get snagged.

Just did last week. It gives a real nice clean look (to me anyway). I'll post pictures for you next week. I don't have time to take any pictures today. I am leaving for Key West as soon as I get home.

Sorry for the delay in posting pictures. You know how it is, go on vacation and for some reason when you get back to work there is more than when you left. Again, I like the look for one, I know its a Cruiser(don't need the emblems to tell me so) but for me being as lazy as I am, without them makes it easier to clean. Don't have to bring out the brush to clean the wax away from the lettering.

let me know if you need another view.

bigdog,
looks like a nice set of dual exhausts. What type are they. Did they come with the dual tips or did you add that later

ptkruzer

I had a local Sun Muffler shop do the work for me. From the catback he put in I believe a 30 inch resonator then "Y" it ending in the dual tips. He told me he used 2 1/2 inch piping. Material is same as factory execpt the tips which are stainless. The tips are 3" X 3 1/2" ovals and they are resonated tips. Real nice purr/roar. All depends who you are talking to. I like it though. It's noisy but not bad. Doesn't sound like a 4 cylinder at all. Love to use my heavy foot to get up to speed. Once it hits 50mph the sound almost disappears. Total job was $350.00

I've remove all traces of PT and Chrysler from the exterior of my ride. the Front Chrysler emblem required some filling and the rear emblem, lock and latch handle required some extensive filing and a solenoid to open the hatch.
