Default StarTech/Revel grilles (was ATT Grille overlay)

Just found a very nice-looking grille kit, kinda expensive, but I like the way it looks, and it seems a lot easier than going the "individual strips" method. Anyone got one or seen 'em in "real life" before we add another $250 to the price of our new car? <http://www.autotrucktoys.com/stores/...49&CATID=4>

Just my opinion, but after a lot of research on this subject, I went with a REAL billet grille. It was only $309, but it'll last, (see ptdoityourself.net - after ten months the installer had to tear the strips off and redo because of weather damage). I think the overlay is made of the same plastic extruded chrome as the strips (not sure).

I guess I like the eggcrate-style look, better than the strip-type look. Is there anyone who makes a "real chrome" eggcrate grille replacement?

beebs,

I'll keep looking for the "real chrome", but in the meantime, here's the grill overlay that you are considering but at a cheaper price:

Beebs,

Found you a "real chrome" grill...but your not gonna like the price, but than again I don't know your finances. How"s $750 sound?

ooooh! ooooooh! ooooooooooooh! Me like Grille!
Lordy, it shore iz purdy!
If we end up finding that "immaculate" Aquamarine at a fair price, then this grille is a possibility....especially if we come in under the price of a "new" PT. If we go with a "new" PT, then this'll take some thinkin'....thanks!

Be Careful beebs - This grill overlay (bottom) does not fit the GT.

Thanks for the warnin', but we are going for either the StarTech grille, or one that we saw that looks pretty identical to it at Revel:

Anybody know if these are actually the same product? This is definitely the look we want....It's gonna look sweeeeeeet on our Aquamarine!

If I sound like a broken record to anyone I apologize. After much research on this I recommend going with metal rather than plastic. A real billet grille for $299 is better than a plastic, chrome-colored painted overlay for $250, IMHO.
